We're still confirming bits and pieces for the Hip Hop dance classes on Thursday nights - hopefully they will be back up and running soon!!

theFactory will be open every Wednesday for young people to drop in after school, use the Internet, play pool and get help with homework. 4-5pm - free!

This week we welcome a team from the US, who are here for the Bank Holiday weekend, out and about in Bray and also helping at unit13 on Friday 31 July.

Yesterday marked another important day at theFactory as the computers are now fully operational and online! Huge thanks to Mark and Alisha for installing and setting everything up!

This week we welcome the guys from Dromore YFC, Northern Ireland - they're here from today until Friday. There'll be dj workshops, vj workshops and look out for them around Bray in their Dromore van!

Sadly we said goodbye to Xtreme at the weekend - we had a fantastic week and they were all so willing to get stuck in and help out wherever needed. Our storage room looks brand new, it was tidied so well! Of course the main event was unit13 which was absolutely fantastic, and Xtreme not only played in the gig but helped set up the entire event. Thanks so much to the whole team for everything - make sure you come back and visit!

This week we welcome American group XTREME to theFactory - they are in Ireland for just over a week and we are very excited about having them perform at unit13 on Friday night. See the events page for more details.

A big thank you to everyone who supported the fundraising coffee morning / clothes sale today, we made just over €200 - thank you! 

Hip Hop classes have finished for the summer as the crew are on tour over the next few weeks but they will be back on the dancefloor in Septmeber!  In the meantime, we are finalising plans for the summer events at theFactory so keep an eye on the website for further details.

As I drove into the complex yesterday, I was nicely surprised by our brand new signs, one just outside the building and one over the front door! They look great and now hopefully people will be able to find us easier now!

Well, this morning I said goodbye to Rose, who left to go back home to Canada.  Rose was here for a month, which seemed to go really fast!  It was great to have her around and we're hoping that she'll come back some day soon! Thanks for everything Rose!

theFactory welcomes Rose Wilkinson from Canada this week - Rose will be working for a month in theFactory and in other local youth projects.
